Unlocking Worlds, Turning Pages: Diving into a Literary Wonderland

I have been working on my book corner page and then shelving it for at least two months. I finished it and now I have my second published page on the site. My current reading lists, books that I am reading, want to read and have read. I added a top header to the page as well and was able to style it for mobile, to meet my satisfaction.

Currently the finished reading list is just for 2024, I probably will not go back any further. I deleted books from my iPad and that caused them to be removed from my reading list. I do not have the desire to go looking through my data to find what I have read. The formatting of the links is also a bear, in WordPress.

I am not planning a music page, which would be my other passion links. It is too much information to list what I am listening to or what I have listened to. I have music on constantly when I am at my desk working and not watching someone else’s creator videos. I change my tastes pretty regularly and don’t feel it’s really engaging content to say, “I’m listening to Alt-Country,” or “I’m listening to Adult Contemporary Goth, again,” especially when I stand a good chance of switching genres three times in an hour or listening to the same genre for weeks on end.

The other big thing in this update, is Amazon affiliate links, which the idea is to try to begin to monetize this website in the least invasive way possible. I need to begin to find a way to bring in positive income flow and at this point, I am out of ideas, or am finally willing to try to leverage the means that this age offers. Ads may come at some point, though personally I hate them and would not hold ad-blockers against anyone. I haven’t come to a conclusion on that though, as I have not explored how non-invasive I can create them.
